I am a professional breeder, and a proud member of Avicultural Society of America and the American Federation of Aviculture. I am a Level 2 Certified Avian Specialist through the Fundamentals of Aviculture course provided by the AFA. I specialize in African Greys and Double Yellow Headed Amazons, but I also raise a plethora of conures, amazons, and other macaws, such as the Blue Throated (or Caninde) Macaw. I purchased a bird from this lovely lady a few years ago and I’ve never regretted it.
Six days later the bird is dead. The breeder wants to say that it’s because we haven’t had a bird before. Not true. $125 more to get the bird tested. The bird didn’t even want to be held by her. He was scared. All her birds were..
