About a year ago we purchased a male. baby, Rosy Bourke from her and he sadly passed. We think he was sick. We recently got our daughter a bird for her birthday. He died too for unknown reasons. A week later, we got her a new bird. It died today.

BUYER BEWAREI purchased four rosellas from Eva Rosen and they were shipped on 03/11/15. One female Crimson Rosella arrived SICK, THIN AND COULD NOT FLY! The bird DIED FIVE DAYS LATER. The other Rosellas were healthy, but POOR QUALITY SMALL BIRDS.

We went to San Diego to pick up a BW Pionus from this breeder. It was a total pleassure doing business with and you can tell she totally loves all her birds and take wonderful care of them. Even though the BW was listed as a breeder bird, he is a really sweet bird and we already have him stepping up and almost dancing for us when we spend time with him. I realize that the birds' care is top priority, but it's been 3 weeks since I called. My concern as a prospective buyer is: If you're too busy to return customer calls after 3 weeks, how well are you able to keep up with everything else? Who/how will you address my concerns after I make a purchase? The guarantee doesn't give customers a choice on their replacement?

Eva is a great person, and an amazing breeder. She was very understanding when the Congo African Grey that we had purchased from her had gotten sick and sadly had died after a month in our care. After contacting her, she had offered to give a Rose Breasted Cockatoo as a replacement without an extra fee, which i know is much more expensive than the CAG. i dont appreciate what Eva did i sent messages about plum headed parakeets she said she would send them to me after they finished laying eggs i was keeping in touch but after the day she said she wanted to wait until they were done laying eggs she didnt answer again and then i looked on birdbreeders.com and the birds were gone so if u didnt want to sell them u should have just told me not avoid me u are the worst breeder i have ever worked with i will never buy from again

My brother and I purchased a rubino/rubino JUVENILE pair of bourkes from Eva July 2011. No DNA certificates came with them but we had no reason to believe they were not a pair.BEWARE-if you purchase birds and do not receive a DNA certificate you may not be getting what you believe you paid for. Eva claims that DNA mistakes are made often and because we did not catch the mistake within the first 30 days of purchase, she is not obligated in any way to rectify the mistake. My loss.

I can't say enough about Eva. I purchased a rose breasted cockatoo from her almost a year ago. While waiting for him to come home to us Eva sent pictures regularly along with updates. We drove to pick up our baby and Eva spent quality time with us teaching us all about our new baby. We did have one bump in the road when our baby regressed and stopped eating. I was refered by Pete below. It's TERRIBLE. Got a hold with her once to check on availability on some scarlet chested keets. Then I called her 10+ times with several messages the next days, with no success, to see if I can come get the birds. Another guy found out later for me that she did not have them anymore. If she does not care to call someone back to say "I do not have them anymore", does she care to follow up with you if something goes wrong? It's interesting to see what she says now.

God has given her the true meaning of caring for these beautiful birds and honest person. I bought a Congo African Grey and a Swainson's Lorikeet from Eva last June, 2010. Birds arrived in beautiful condition. The Grey took a few days to come around but that's to be expected. The Lori on the other hand jumped right out of the box and onto my hand like she new me forever! It's October now and Diego the Grey is my best friend :) I dearly love them both...Ginger in NJ
